Terms of service
Last updated: March 29, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Omichan (“Service”), a platform to build and embed AI chatbots on websites. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Description of the service
Omichan provides tools to create chatbot apps, manage documents, configure appearance, and embed a widget via a script snippet. Features or plans may change over time; we will provide reasonable notice of material changes.
3. Accounts and sign-in
You may sign in through a third-party provider (e.g. Google). You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for all activity under it.
You must provide accurate information when required. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or misuse the Service.
4. Your content and data
You retain rights to content you upload (documents, settings, text). You grant Omichan a license to process, store, and use that content to operate the Service, including generating embeddings and answering end users per your configuration.
You represent that you have the rights to your content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights. You must not use the Service to distribute unlawful, harmful, privacy-violating, or malicious content.
5. Acceptable use
You must not: (i) interfere with or disrupt our infrastructure; (ii) attempt unauthorized access to systems or other accounts; (iii) use the Service for spam, fraud, or unauthorized data collection; (iv) reverse engineer or copy except as expressly permitted.
We may apply technical limits (rate limits, quotas) consistent with your plan to keep the platform stable.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Omichan disclaims warranties of uninterrupted, error-free operation or fitness for a particular purpose. AI outputs may be inaccurate; verify important information.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
7. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms. The new version will be posted on this page with an effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where required to comply with law or protect users and the platform.
